Mix and match !!

Today I work on night shift, so I have plenty of time this morning to do my XS project. Since I already cut my fabric for Vierlande - 1826 Sampler, so I decided to stitch it today. I'm still play around with the two threads that I choose so I could have a wonderful sampler when it is finished later.

This is the outcome of my experiment today. Is the DMC Black and DMC 115 match very well. Please give some opinion friend. Hemm ... I kinda like the sampler very much and hope to stitch some more tomorrow. Will upload some progress soon.

Hi Charlene, What a nice combination of threads. Maybe its a good idea for me to do something in 2 colors. I am having color problems with my LDS already! Think I had better go do some digging in my boxes for that mag! A foreign land friend mentioned that your piece was also featured in back issue of the Burda mag! which I collect too!

That looks lovely. I like black but I don't seem to see the holes well when I stitched using it. Not even during daylight. *sigh*

I think it's going to be beautiful in your chosen colours, Charlene! And what a wonderful start you've made on it. :-) Can't wait to follow your progress...
