I would like to update my very long WIP project. It was almost turn into UFO already ... lol. Anyway, after starting to stitch it last night, I get excited back to stitch it and I can't stop my hand to stitch and stitch.

This is it ... Terre de France a freebie from Creations Annick Abrial for the year 2004. Just terminate the freebie for everyone download in January 2007.

It has 24 parts all together and hopefully I manage to finished it. It was once a SAL project organize by Malaysian_Stitchers group. I guess other member who join this SAL already finished it for long time ago. Shame .... shame ...

At the moment, this is the whole look for my piece. I will make sure that I stitch at least 1 part for one weeks or a months the worst.

Welcome To My Stitching Room !!!

I gonna show you my latest project that I start 2 days ago. lol .. This is call "Welcome To My Stitching Room" (WTMSR) from Jeremiah Junction collection by Linda Coleman.

I remember that I did ask Nik to sale off her chart to me so I can stitch this wonderful design but she didn't do that because this is one of her precious collection that she want to keep. Anyway, I manage to get a copy of this chart together with other JJ Collection from 123 Stitch.

You see after getting the chart, then I know why Nik doesn't want to let go her chart. Beside this "WTMSR", the chart come out with two other chart that will not make you stop from stitching it call "Welcome to My Garden" and "Refuge & Strength".

This is the progress that I have done so far. Quite a slow progress because I have a lot of thread that I don't have in my collection and need to get it from the local LNS before I can stitch on it.

Tonight will be more progress that I can done and hopefully this project won't take me so long to finished it.

This is a small part on the chart. The dragonfly head was stitch using the bead again. Just love the way Joan Elliott's create the chart.

Concentrate on part 7 now and it's almost finished actually. Hope to get this project done faster so I can go on to the new to - do - list .. *wink

WOTE - Part 5 Completed !!!

Yup!!! Although it has been a very hectic week for me this week due to the workload, I still manage to completed my part 5 for this Wisdom of the East chart. Interesting. It’s an oriental fan and it’s really awesome.. Don’t you think so .... lol. As what I mentioned on my previous post, I only need to stitch the DMC 504 to complete the chart so this is it.

The hard part for this part 5 is I have to stitch a french knot. Wow … It’s a challenge for me because I don’t really know how to stitch french knot and sometime it turn out not tidy as I want. Anyway, I manage to do it but not satisfied enough.

Beside French knot, this oriental fan also need to stitch a mill hill bead on it. As you can see the head of the dragonfly and the dot on the rope of the fan was stitch using bead but I didn’t use mill hill bead. I just use the ordinary bead from Sarawak that I always use for stitching the edging of my mailart.

Now, need to take a break on my part 6 because I have to finished a scissor fob for my Scissor Fob exchange organize by Cross Stitch Round Robins Board. Hemm .. I have to source out the suitable chart for this exchange.

WOTE - Part 4

During the long holiday for Wesak's Day celebration and the weekend, I manage to stitch part 4 for the Wisdom of The East by Joan Elliott's.

Nothing much to say about this part because it's kind a easy and enjoy to stitch. I love the colors and also the vase that use for putting the orchids flower.

Beside, this part also will look great if we want to turn it into bookmark. Now I have to move to part 5. Actually, it's almost done.. It just that I running out of DMC 504 thread and need to purchase it before I can finish the whole part 5. Watch out for my finishing for another part soon.

WOTE update !!!!

I finished my part 2 & part 3 for the "Windom of the East" chart. Here is the pic and this is such a big achivement for me.

Stitching both kimonos really gave me an headached. Joan Elliott's love to use a lot of colourful thread and keep changing the thread really slow down my stitching and the both kimonos take me a weeks for finished it.

Phewww .... luckily it doesn't stop me from finished it at the end. Nik & Azie, at last I have my own collection of kimono ..... LOL

Have to take a break for the chart because I need to finish Sherry's RR - from EMS Board.

Niesa : Not much actually. I guess you already see the whole pieces including the border. That's why you tought I already done a lot.

Cheez : Love to see the chart that you stitch for the MYS exchange. Will visit your blog soon.

Other : Thank you for your wonderful word for my previous post.
