Bellpull

Since today I have a little free time, I thought I have to update something. If not I feel guilty to myself ... at least by updating my progress will motivate me to stitch ... and stitch more. But I understand that stitching will not be the first priority for me now .. as I have my baby that need more attention from me and also my 7 years old boy who now is in primary one.

As promise ... tara my finished piece. It's a bellpull. I never finished any bellpull for myself. Only manage to do so but for exchange. This is my first bellpull for myself and now it is proudly hanging on the wall.

Cushion Cover

I done it last night. What a nice combination colour with the Ho . Ho. Ho. fabric that Nik gave to me. Just love it and now it was sitting on my sofa wait for the visitor to come and hug it ... lol.

Stitcher's Tool

I was busy my self stithing this chart, a freebie from EMS Cross Stitch Board. I was attracted by Nik when I see she finished two of the same chart provided by EMS website to finished as a pincushion.

I start the chart using 14ct Ecru and choose Anchor 1315 multi-colour thread and the finsihing was stunning. I just love the whole combination colour and I already have something in mind on the finishing and I not going to finished it as a pincushion as what it suppose to be. So this is the pic. Check - it out everyone.

Christmas Mood !!!

Really feel Christmas mood now. I had quickly finished my Santa into ornament this morning since I work on night shift today. Just love the finishing and really enjoy doing it. Hope to done some more.

Here is another one. My miniature pillow. A snowflake that I show in my earlier post and I manage to finished it this morning too. Did I manage the colour nicely .. lol.

WTMSR complete !!!

Wow .. it has been a weeks since I didn't update my progress on this WTMSR. Actually it has been completed last Friday but I was on sick leave that day so I couldn't update my blog. Anyway, here is the complete pic of the "Welcome To My Stitching Room" project. Actually it still miss out the bees because I haven't bought it and need to watch out from the local LNS to stitch on it before I can send it to frame or other finishing.

I just love the look of whole piece. It's really colourful and cheer and I still think whether I suppose to send it for frame or finished it into bellpull.

Hemmm .. any idea on the finishing anyone.

Ornament

As Christmas will be coming soon, I do stitch some chart on christmas and I hope to finished it into ornament. Never try to make any ornament before and that's why .. would like to make one.

I choose a Roly-Poly Santa a freebies from Needle Maid Designs. It's really cute .. at least for me and I can only finished it after 3 hours working on it. Isn't the Santa look so cute. I'm happy with the look and hopefully can make a wonderful ornament .. *wink.

Miniature Pillow

Here is another small and easy chart to stitch for christmas. I'm using GAST to stitch it .. call "Hibuscus". Those who interested to stitch the chart can simply download it from Better Home & Gardes website. It also come together with other nice christmas freebies.

My First Scissor Fob !!!

I sent these scissor fob to my exchange partner on the Cross_Stitch_Round Robin_Mad Group and it actually arrived for quite sometime. And i am so glad to hear that Brenda, USA likes it. The design was a freebie from one of the website but I can't remember it. This is my first try on scissor fob and it turn out very well. I just love it and don't know when I can stitch one for my self. FYI, the design is stitch using Six Strand Sweet name "Black Cherry" that can be easily get from Aslinda.

AOY Swing Complete !!!!

A completed project at last! Happy Dance !

Yup .. What Barbara says is right. The next time when I going to update my AOY Swing it will be my finishing. I didn’t realize that this AOY Swing take me in short time and I manage to finished it only in 1 week. This is such a big progress for me because in this early month I already done one project that I which to do it for long time ago.

Now since this one is done, I have to such and start a new one. Surprise .. surprise !!!

WOTE Completed !!!!

Finally, I have completed the WOTE piece from Joan Elliot. I was really happy and really satisfied of the finishing. At least I keep the word that I say .. to completed the piece before I delivery my baby next year. Now I'm not scare that the piece will become UFO .. LOL.

It is a nice design from Joan Elliot and now I was thinking to start a new project from Joan Elliot as well call Friendship sampler .. the one that finished by Nik and Barbara a month ago. Anyway, will update again whether I going to choose the sampler or other project because I have a long list to stitch actually and the Friendship Sampler is one of the list.

Frame Project !!!

Hemm … what to update here. It has been a while when the last time I log in to my blog. Really not use to the blog. Everything change and make me feel frustrated on the look of the blog. Anyway, will try to fix it later.

I didn’t done any stitching project during the long holiday for Gawai Celebration plus Agong’s Birthday. Just want to update some of my finished project that I send for framing it.

This is a project that I have done since last year. Only manage to send over for framing last month due to the time permit. This attractive amaryllis design called Red Velvet by Sheila Hudson is simply stunning. The design is taken from Cross Stitch Collection, December 2004 Issue 112. For many of you think that there is a lot of wonderful flower outside their, but why have to choose velvet. Hemmm ... my answer is when I first saw this picture, I really fall in love with it and I promise my self that I have to do it.

The combination colour between red and green was really make the velvet look alive. Everyone who saw this project of mind was so please to see it and for me I never regret to stitch it. For those of you who always visit my blog will know that

I just finished this project not many month ago. Special thanks to Niesa for allow me to use her book to finished this piece. This sampler is taken from Quick & Easy Cross Stitch Gift issue April 2005. It's a Jeremiah Junction collection.

Personally I was not happen with the frame maker because he frame this chart without following my instruction. Reall frust to see it when I go and collect it. He just frame is exactly with the border size without giving at least an inche from the border of the chart and the frame.

I promise my self not to go back to that frame make again. He is arque with me that no other frame maker can do what I want .. and yet I can see all those wonderful finished frame work from Nik, Niza and other fellow stitcher on their blog that done much .. much perfectly for the one that he done.

I'm not a fussy person but since I pay for his services I guess I deserving the best services from him ... don't you agree with me.

Another Frame Work !!!

Hehehe .... final one is Jason Birth sampler! I promise to send it for framing as soon as possible because he really love to see his photo hanging on the wall. I choose Jason photo when he was 2 months old until 6 years old. Isn’t he is cute. It was finally frame. I want him to always remember his mummy specially gift for him when he was 6th years old and he can see it for all his life.

I manage to finished Jason birthday sampler during my weekend. Really satisfied with the whole piece of the sampler. Now I need to find out his old photo from the moment he was born until now to stick into the empty column of the sampler.

Bent Creek's Design

I manage to stitch several small pieces last few days. I choose a simple and easy pattern from Bent Creek's design.

This pattern is call BUZZ and it's take me 4 hours to finished it. I'm using 18ct Aida with 2 thread instate of 1 just like many other stitchers.

My second pattern from Bent Creek's design and it's called Swirlygig. Isn't the pattern was so lovely. Just like Lizzie*Kate pattern and we hardly differenciate the design .... but anyway I like it. It's so colourful just like what I want it to be and all the thread I choose is from DMC Variegated.

Still have a lot to stitch but to little time to finished it. How I wish that I can have extra time so I can spent it to my stitching project.

Trail Creek Farm Freebiessssssssss

I was reading previous message from Malaysian Crafters2Crafters Group and found this freebie posted by Harsha from Trail Creek Farm website. It's really attract me and I decided to have it as my own collection.

This is what I've been working on during my weekend ....

Not to much if I say that this is such a simple and sweet pattern. Very easy to stitch and the most floss that being use for one pattern is 4. Now, I have a problem. What should I do with this lovely pattern ??? Any better idea everyone.

Norli's SPRR

It have been more then a week that I never log on to my blog. Wow ... kinda busy and still excited for this Chinese New Year celebration. Even last night I still entertained some of my friend who come to my house for this CNY visit. Stitching wise, I didn't done much during this long holiday .... only manage to get Norli Single Pattern Round Robin done and send it off the baby to the mummy yesterday.

Spent less then half day to finished it. This is very simple pattern taken from http://silepointcompte.free.fr/crea/crea.htm. I also use the same pattern to make my biscornu.

Ok ... this is it. I'm using Anchor multi-colour to stitch this pattern. It's Anchor 1349 - blue colour.

Actually she do provided the floss but I didn't use it because the colour of the floss was too light and can see the different if I stitch it with the white Aida as the fabric. Hope Norli will happy to received it.

Biscornu

Hey .. hey ... hey ... This is my first try to make a biscornu. Am I pronounce it correctly.

I heard that Malaysian_Stitchers group going to organized this Biscornu Exchange .. so I would like to try it first. I'm not joining. It's ok for me to miss out this exchange rather then joining but couldn't make a good biscornus.... am I.

Above is the top view of the biscornus using Six Strand Sweet floss color Fire Jaw Breaker and the right pic is the other angle of the biscornus view using SSS color Raspberry Peach. Tuck

I wanted to start this tuck pillow for long time ago, but haven't got the time to start on it. Since the holiday for new year was so long, so I decided to make one although some of you may already make a lot of it. Here you go .. my first finished tuck pillow, fully stitch and finished by me. It look great .. at least for me. It take me less then 1/2 day to finished it.

Hope to stitch more soon because I really enjoy stitching it.

Home, Family & Blessing

For the kick start of the year 2006, I finished this sampler on 1st January 2006. This sampler take me lest then 3 weeks to finished it.

A day after my meet up with Niesa, I decided to stitch this HOME, FAMILY & BLESSING by Jeremiah Junction. How truly blessed we are when we have a happy home and a loving family. It's easy to take these things for granted. Stitching this sampler is a daily reminder of God's best gifts to us.

This sampler really make my heart bloom especially seeing all the colourful thread that been use to create such a wonderful sampler.

Specially thank you goes to Niesa who willing to lend me her precious book a gift from Quick & Easy Cross Stitch issue April 2005.

From the cover, maybe some of you noticed that two Narrow Red Heart button is being use same line with the wording "Having Someplace to Go is" but I change it with the love chart because I can't find a suitable button to stitch on the finished sampler. Anyway, the outcome look nice also.

Now is time for me to send this sampler for framing. So happy and can't wait for the finished frame now.

My Topiaries is Completed !!!!

During a few day of public holiday for Eid celebration, I manage to finished my AUtumn and Winter topiary. A freebie from Passione Ricamo and the colour of all topiary was marvelous. I finished stitching this last night and decide to frame it soon.

Summer Topiary

Try to upload my latest finished project .. Summer Topiary but the site keep on give me a problem. The photo couldn't upload ... errrr .. anger .. anger.

I gonna try it for the last time before I give up and ... guess what. The photo can be upload already. Here is my 2nd topiaries and I really love the colour. It look lovely and cheerful. Tonight I will stitch my 3rd topiaries .. yes Autumn Topiary and I can't wait to start it.

Spring Topiary ....

Seeing all the great work in EMS Website about Topiaries, really gives me the itch to stitch it as soon as possible. Since I'm finished my partner RR and waiting my partner to post their 3rd round of RR piece for me to stitch, then I decided to start it.

After stitch and stitch for 3 days, here is the result. Yippi .. I already finished my spring topiary yesterday. So happy for it and going to stitch my second topiary tonight .. *wink.

FYI, I'm using 14ct white Aida. After finished it, then I realised that the wording is not really centered and I need to restitch the wording .. he he he ... that is me .. kinda fussy in everything especially in my XS work. I always want all my XS piece to turn out be a nice piece. I think I going to do it, when I finished all the four season before I get bact to this spring wording.
