Oriental Odyssey ...

I feel like jumping when I received a parcel today. I know the parcel is from Angie. I ask her favor to get me the Orietal Odyssey book and it's in my hand now.

I keep browsing the book and can't stop myself from saying wow ... I wanna do this .. I wanna do that. What can I say .. Joan Elliott is too talented and I just love all the design that store in the book. Now all I need is time to stitch all wonderful and gorgeous design inside. From kimono to calligraphy, flowers, fan and feng shui art ... all was design in detail and bringing a sense oe peace and harmony to our everyday environment.

The sensuous colours of luxurious silk, theheady scent of spring flowers, the simple beauty of a flowing stream - all conjure up images of the Orient. This collection of designs brings those sensibilities to the art of cross stitch.

I'll never regret to have it as my collection of cross stitch book :)

Yippie ... I found it !!!

I was so lucky yesterday. I go and visit one of the book fair try to find out Cross Stitch book or collection. At first I was so dissapointed because after rounding for third time .. could't find any of the cross stitch book. Just saw some of knot book and recipe book ... Then when I decided to go back ... suddenly my son as me to see some stationery for his book colouring and guess what .. my eye was attract to one corner of the book.

Yippie ... I was jumping happily. Yes, I got it. It's a book call "Cross Stitch: Sentiments and Sayings" by Joan Elliott and it is in hardcover. I've been looking for this book for long time already.
